Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the ZeraGrants service ("Service"), operated by ZeraGrants ("we," "us," or "our"). By requesting a shortlist or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

The Service

ZeraGrants provides grant discovery and eligibility screening for Canadian nonprofit organizations. We research grant opportunities and deliver shortlists tailored to your organization's profile, prepared with a combination of human review and research tooling (see our Privacy Policy) — every shortlist is reviewed by a human analyst before delivery. The Service is informational only and does not constitute legal, tax, or professional advice; we do not guarantee funding outcomes or application success.

Application drafting

On request, we offer paid application drafting support — but only for grant opportunities that appear on your ZeraGrants shortlist and whose eligibility we have verified; we do not draft applications for opportunities outside your shortlist or with unconfirmed eligibility. Any drafting engagement is quoted as a flat fee in writing before any work begins. Our liability for a drafting engagement is limited to the fees you paid for that specific application. As with the rest of the Service, drafting support does not guarantee any funding outcome, and we never charge a contingency fee based on funds awarded.

Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information about your organization so we can deliver relevant results. You are responsible for verifying grant details, eligibility requirements, and deadlines before applying to any opportunity.

Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, where it is stored, the service providers who process it on our behalf, and how long we keep it. By using the Service you consent to the handling of your information as described there.

Accuracy of information

We make every effort to ensure shortlists are accurate and up to date. However, grant programs change frequently. Always verify details directly with the funder. We are not liable for changes to program guidelines, deadlines, or eligibility criteria after your shortlist is delivered.

Intellectual property

Shortlists and reports we produce are for your organization's internal use. You may not resell or redistribute our outputs without written permission.

Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is." We are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our maximum liability is limited to amounts paid for the specific shortlist in question.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
